Executive Director
Cynthia Burton
As Executive Director, Cyndy is the founder of the organization and passionately conveys the divine inspiration for StarBrite. She has proven adept at communicating this message in the context of discussions with potential charitable donors. She has many years of experience with horses, and through her associations and studies, with riding disciplines and training techniques.

Advisory Board
StarBrite's role as a charitable organization and its future course are steered by its Advisory Board. StarBrite is fortunate to have board members who are experienced, multi-talented, and, most importantly, very caring.
Mike Burton
Mike provides the knowledge of standard business practices and sound business management methodology that he has learned from his role as owner/ President of his own financial consulting business.
Cyndy Burton
Cyndy brings organizational skills gathered from her life experiences, employment history, education, and, most importantly, her personal character. She also is valuable to the corporation because of her dedication to the children, this mission and to the horses.
Jill Lewis
Jill brings to our board extensive knowledge and a strong belief in ethics and ethical principles. She provides the knowledge of a lifetime of working with horses and providing riding instruction. She has an extensive background of working with children and young people as a riding instructor and trainer.
Gary Shelton, DVM
Dr. Shelton graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and Florida Veterinary Medical Association. He is an invaluable member of our advisory board. He brings extraordinary insights regarding our programs and the overall health and management of our horses. His input also aides in our equine education programs for our children. We are honored to have him on our Board.
